We met online in Philadelphia in 2014. We initially bonded over music (our first date was to a Lykke Li show). We also lived about eight blocks from each other and both worked helping high school students figure out their post-high school plans. In 2016, Sarah moved to Michigan for grad school, and Andrew’s Civic racked up many miles driving from Philly to Ann Arbor (with our pup Sadie as co-pilot). Since 2018, Philly has been our home. We adjusted to spending lots of time together during the pandemic, said goodbye to our sweet Sadie in May 2024, and brought a rambunctious kitten named CiCi home in April 2025. (Sadie and CiCi are the instrumentalists on the back of our Save the Date.)

We decided to get married in November 2024 and officially proposed to each other on a snowy hike in the Poconos in January 2025. We can’t wait to celebrate our marriage with you!
